Personal Manifesto

Personal manifesto's are something of great worth to individuals. But they are even more important to companies and pages that are posting on social media. This is because if you do not have a set plan or roadmap to what and how you're going to post to social media, you will either not reach your potential clients at all or at least not be able to be as effective as you would have liked to be. I will be describing my personal manifesto in the sections below.

What: The posts that I will be posting will be of a pseudo company. The company that I'm going to be doing is a charity for dogs. More specifically, a charity that will allow dogs to become adopted. It will advertise about different types of dogs, and different ways that you would be able to donate to them. You will be able to see how to adopt them too.

How: The how of social media manifestos is to explain the type of medium that will be posted. Medium is basically just whether you are going to use blog posts, photos, videos, etc. I think I will mainly be focused on posting photos and links to articles. This will be the best way to reach the demographic that I am choosing, mainly 20-30 year male and females, because they will be the ones interested in this type of charity. I'll have to find a clever way to catch their attention. If I were to post a bunch of "memes", I could draw in an audience that is fun loving, or if I go with the sop story approach like this picture above depicts, it could bring in a different type of demographic.

Where: I will be mainly focusing my attention on Instagram. Instagram is where the millennial are focusing their attention, because facebook is phasing itself out. Facebook is mainly shifting towards the older generations. I will mainly be posting about the charity and how people can help support it. I will plan to have scroll stopping images that will make people stop and think to themselves awe, look at those cute dogs. It will be fun.
